I don’t trust maple-flavored bacon products. But bacon coffee? Maybe.
Posted by Joe on November 17th, 2008 filed in Bacon FoodThey call it “Maple Bacon Morning.” They say it’s “Reminiscent of a hearty Saturday morning breakfast.” But me? I don’t trust maple-flavored bacon products. When I see the word “Maple” combined with “Bacon” it screams “Hello, and welcome to our synthetic-tasting bacon imitation flavor.” I don’t like synthetic bacon. I have bad memories of watching the world cup finals, eating maple-flavored bacon, and getting grossed out. I don’t like it when bacon grosses me out. Bacon shouldn’t do that.
So, although this whole bacon coffee idea is intriguing, I’m not going to be the guinea pig that tries it out. And if you find yourself being a guinea pig for this Maple Bacon Morning coffee stuff, hey, I want to know what it was like. Do tell.
