Classic Bacon: The Wake ‘n’ Bacon Alarm Clock (that cooks your bacon while you sleep)

How many times in life do you get to say the words: “it cooks my bacon while I sleep”? Unless you have some sort of awesome bacon-optimizied robot, not many.
Enter the Wake ‘n’ Bacon Alarm Clock. Sure, this link has been passed around the internet more than any semi-self-respecting high-school slut, and, yes, that’s what makes it Classic Internet Bacon.
This is Bacon Technology Done Right. Witness this quote:
No one likes to wake up, especially by an alarm. This clock gently wakes you up with the mouthwatering aroma of bacon, just like waking up on a Sunday morning to the smell of Mom cooking breakfast. Unless you’re Jewish.
Notice the lack of fluffy language, the subtle semitic humor? Okay, that “Unless you’re Jewish” joke is something you hear a lot in bacon circles, and we here at sizzology cannot support such language, but you get what we’re talking about. These Wake ‘N’ Bacon people get it.
Tip: Add a tootsie roll to your bacon frying pan.

Adding a tootsie roll to your bacon frying pan gives your bacon a light chocolaty flavor when it’s done cooking. The tootsie roll melts and dissolves into the grease. Try it next time you cook bacon.

While I don’t support the Slate.com video’s thesis, I do support them using a clip of our Bacon Man video in their piece. You can watch it here:
You can read their post here (there’s not much more than the video though), and see the whole Obama Bacon Man video here.
Bacon Question of the Month: What’s your first bacon memory?

What’s your first bacon memory?
Mine is a little fuzzy — I remember being young, and being under the impression that bacon was a luxury food. Like candy, but rarer. When I was young I dreamed about getting older and to the point in my life when I could eat all the candy that I wanted (I imagined giant piles of it, with me and my friends plowing in). Funny thing: now that I’m an adult I don’t have piles of candy, but I do have boxes and boxes of bacon.
